A hilarious 15 minute one woman play depiciting the life and times of the Windrush Nurses who arrived to the UK from the Caribbean and Africa circa 1945 and beyond. Featuring characters from Paulett's 60 minute woman play: 'Fashioning A Dream'. Both written and performed by Paulette Harris-German aka 'Lady Paulette'.

HERO - A FRANCES-ANNE SOLOMON FILM

A new film tells the true story of Ulric Cross, who in 1941, left his home in Trinidad and became the RAF's most decorated West Indian airman of WWII. 'Hero' has been directed by award winning film-maker, Frances Anne Solomon - she told Alicia Edwards more about the film. That movie 'Hero' is being released tomorrow.

DEATH OF A SALESMAN

Following her recent award-winning successes on Company and Angels in America, Marianne Elliott co-directs Death of a Salesman with Miranda Cromwell, who worked as Associate Director on both shows. Together, they bring a unique vision to one of the greatest plays of the twentieth century, seen through the eyes of an African-American family.

Last Black Man In San Francisco

“Weird as it sounds, this movie is a love story about me and a house,” writes Jimmie Fails, co-star and inspiration for the story. Writer/director Joe Talbot and Jimmie Fails are friends from childhood and the film grows out of the story of their lives, their friendship, and their relationship to the ever-changing city that is San Francisco.
